Hot Stone Massage is just that - Hot stones that are heated before the client arrives for their massage to a temperature of 120 degrees and used on the body throughout the massage. Hot Stones are soothing and relaxing also perfect for the therapist to heat the muscles making it easier to get deeper into the muscle without causing pain.

Hot stone incorporation is typically used unless you specifically request a full Hot stone massage session.

Hot stone massaging techniques can vary. One form is the massage therapist uses the heated stones in his/her hands while massaging the body. When the stone reaches a lower temperature, the therapist replaces the stone with another to continue the warmth throughout the massage.

The therapist also leaves heated stones on specific points along your spine, in the palms of your hand, on your belly, or even between your toes to improve the flow of energy in your body. A very relaxing massage it is!

We use Basalt stones whose nature is to absorb and retain heat, typically about 20-25 minutes outside of the heating stone warmer.
